Does this sentence make sense?

I agree with Bilbo, I think infatuation refers to something of a crazy nature. It is usually used in the context when someone is obsessed with another person in an unhealthy way like a stalker for example. The thesaurus is a great tool to use, but you don't want it to sound as if you used the thesaurus by using words that don't make sense in the context with the rest of the sentence. Use determined... it seems like a simple word, but it is appropriate in this context. I hope that helped.
