Highschool basketball help?

Im going to be a sophmore next year and i LOVE the game of basketball. Ive been told im a great player by a number of coaches around the area and i really work to get better. But when i tried out for our highschool team my freshmen year i ran into a problem. The coach makes everyone trying out do conditioning which i was scared for life at because there was girls ping out and throwing up all over the place. It was wrong. Then i got cut. All of his "favorite group of girls" made it who play for him every year when only two freshmen made the team (one of which whose mom istant coaches) . When other coaches around town found out they called him a complete idiot. I really hate this guy, he didnt really give me a chance. I dont want to play AAU because i feel its not worth the money and my moms out of a job. Im stuck. I really want to play. please help.
